IBEW Local 45 has embarked on an exciting communications program that will keep you informed about the issues that concern you, you family, and coworkers.
Titled "The Quarterly," the main goal of this publication is to focus on you and the people you work with. Dynamic and insightful articles highlighting members on the job will be featured in each issue. These articles will introduce you to the men and women who are the lifeblood of our union.
Our hope is that each of your becomes more familiar with your Local 45 Brothers and Sisters, and that this useful information will build faith, hope and confidence in the local and the entire IBEW organization.

We cannot overstate its importantance.
This publication will provide you with guidance on essential matters that affect all unions. The issues vary from political endorsements to changes in health care. We fight hard for your union rights. This magazine will serve as a forum to learn the union viewpoint when making important decisions.
The diversity and solidarity of our union makes us unique, and establishes us as a strong voice for organizaed labor. Our members work for a variety of employers in a number of different industries - ranging from the Naval Weapsons Center in China Lake to the County of Los angeles, from Hollywood Park to School Districts, Cable Providers, Capitol Records, television, radio and the enterainment world.

The significant purpose of this publication is emphasis on our members. Each of you is an important component in the success of Local 45. Although in different industries, each of you embraces the same joys and face many of the same challeges. By using these pages to share your stories, news and information, we build upon a strong foundation and focus our solidarity.
Each member in current standing should receive a copy of "The Quarterly." We will also attempt to make them available online of viewing and printing.
