Vizrt Offers Training Seminars July 28th to July 31st

Vizrt is offering training seminars in Los Angeles July 28th to July 31st.

The Introduction to Trio is a one day course, offered on July 28th & July 29th. The Introduction to Artist 3.2 is a two day course, offered on July 30th & 31st. You may register for both Intro to Trio as well as Intro to Artist. The cost of each course is $100. Attendees will receive software and a temporary license.

IBEW Local 45 General Membership Meeting to Be Held on August 27, 2008
The next General Membership Meeting for Local 45 members will be held at the Local 45 office in Hollywood. Senior Two-Way Radio Technician

Day Wireless Systems, a Motorola authorized full service two-way and wireless communications dealer, seeks a qualified Two-Way Radio Senior Technician to install, repair, align and
maintain two-way radio communication systems in our Benicia Service Center.

Our Ideal Candidate:
Must have capabilities with installation, maintenance, and repair of base systems, repeaters, remote controls, multiplexers, antenna systems, microwave systems, battery backup systems, and solar power systems. Good computer skills required with ability to program, trouble shoot and/or perform system diagnostics on complex communication systems. Experience with dispatch consoles, paging infrastructure and trunked radio systems a must. Must be able to work in a team environment on large installation projects requiring skills in cabling, connectorization, and system optimization.

Candidates must possess an industry license from testing agency (FCC, FICA or NARTE) as well as a clean driving record and valid drivers license. Two-year degree in electronics field is highly desirable.
Successful candidates will be motivated, customer service oriented and professional in appearance. Must be willing and able to work after normal business hours on call and compensation is commensurate with experience.

Radio Broadcast Technician

KNX/KFWB Radio in Los Angeles is looking for a Radio Technician with 2 years experience in broadcast facilities with minimum 2 years Associates degree in electronics or 5 years hands-on maintenance experience with AM and/or FM transmitters, two-way, STL & studio audio at a professional radio or television facility. Basic knowledge of personal computers is a must. Knowledge of digital audio & logic techniques & systems is highly desirable. SBE Certification preferred.
