Your Union Dues Are Due
Non-Staff, Freelance, Casual and Temporarary Employees - The previous month’s union dues are due on or before the 15th day of the current month.
About Your Union Dues
BASE DUES are $12.00 per month. WORKING DUES are 1.25% of gross earnings or the designated minimum, whichever is greater. The combination of both BASE & WORKING DUES are required monthly even if you did not work or were not hired by an employer in Local 45’s jurisdiction.
Honorary Withdrawal is an option for IBEW members who retire, take a leave of absence, complete a temporary work assignment or will no longer accept employment in IBEW jurisdiction. Please call the union office on how to apply for an Honorary Withdrawal.
How To Calculate Your Union Dues
This calculator is provided as a service to help you calculate your union dues for a given month. Your are still responsible to fill out our Dues Payment Packet and send the amount due to the Union office by the due date. IBEW Local 45 does not offer an online payment option at this time.
Designated minimums apply depending on the wages earned for a specific month. Please see the Dues Payment Packet Instructions for complete details.

Staff employees should consult the dues payment packet for further information and instructions. Non-Staff, Freelance, Casual or Temporary employees with wages that vary from month to month should compute their working dues as follows:
